Alberta Solomon

Alberta Williams Solomon was born on March 24, 1936, in Queens, New York. She was the youngest of
Six children born to Thomas Williams and Molly Williams.

Alberta was educated in Queens, New York where she attended and graduated High School. Alberta attended Beauty School, and later open her first salon Beauty Salon in Brooklyn, New York. Alberta loved to travel, look fabulous, play Bingo, entertain her family and friends, and she was an excellent cook.

While growing up Alberta was a member of Amity Baptist Church with her siblings. Alberta met Joseph Solomon, they dated, and later married at Mount Zion Baptist Church in the 1960's in Jamaica, Queens. The couple had two sons; Jeffery which preceded her in death, and her son Joseph.

Alberta is survived by her son, Joseph, granddaughter, Raenelle, sister-In-law, Ruby Williams, and a host of many nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, and many friends.
