Aqeel Asim Furqan

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Aqeel Furqan, a hardworking, loyal, and loving father, who left us on August 30th at the age of 82. Aqeel was a pillar of strength and a guiding light to all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and unwavering support.

Born on June 8th in Mississippi, Aqeel dedicated his life to his family and his work. His tireless efforts and commitment to providing for his loved ones were unmatched. Whether it was long hours at work or the long stories he shared with family, he always gave his all, never wavering in his devotion.

A man of strong values, Aqeel was not only a father but also a mentor, a friend, and a confidant. His wisdom, patience, and loving guidance touched the lives of many. He taught us the importance of hard work, integrity, and love for family, values that will be passed down through generations.

Aqeel is survived by his spouse, Aneesah, his children, Miles, Fatimah, Christine, Michelle, Rashad, Ayesha, Jamal and Ameer,  Grandchildren Zachary, Erin, Domonique Christopher, Lauren, Aaliyah, Sebastian,  MJ, Maliyah, Everett, Malik, Amirah, and Ava. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he cherished, and his love will continue to guide his family, even in his absence.

Though we mourn his loss, we take comfort in knowing that his memories live on in the love and strength he gave us. He will forever be missed, but his legacy will never fade.

A service to honor Aqeel's life will be held on September 20th at  The funeral  will be on 9/20 at 10:40 am  southern Nevada veterans  memorial cemetery  1900 Buchanan  blvd Boulder City NV 89005.
