He passed away Friday,March 10,2006 after courageously battling an illness.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Annie Curtis. He is also survived by five children, Michael Curtis, Andrel Curtis Cheathon, Richard Ransom, Jill Simone Curtis and Kim Ransom Washington; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Edward "Fellow" Curtis and Elie "Butch" Curtis Sr.; two great aunts, Dorothy Carr and Julie Carr; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and family.
