Arlene Lohli Nemeth passed away peacefully the afternoon of December 5th, 2023. Arlene was born on April 19th, 1943 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey and married her lifelong partner, Charles (Chuck) Nemeth on January 18th, 1964. Charles and Arlene had two beautiful children together and Arlene worked hard to raise them, always ensuring she was involved in their extracurriculars. She became even more involved when her grandchildren were born, and she loved spending time with them, braiding hair before school and helping to pick out outfits daily. Her family will miss her presence dearly, especially this upcoming holiday season as her family will have to go without her famous stuffed cabbage for the first time.
Arlene was a devout Catholic, and after relocating to Las Vegas permanently in the early 2000s she never missed a Saturday Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Arlene was also an avid casino goer, and she and her husband found great joy in going almost daily to Red Rock Casino, where they could play, eat, and socialize.
Arlene forged fond friendships with those around her at the casino, and her sharp wit and generous spirit will be missed in both the church pew, and casino chair. Arlene was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, parishioner and friend who will be fondly remembered by her husband Chuck, her daughter Tracy and son Scott, and her grandchildren Stephanie, Kerri, Brett, Dylan, and Charlie. Her viewing will be held Tuesday December 12th from 2-5PM at Bunkers Mortuary with the funeral to follow Wednesday at 9AM at Bunkers Mortuary.
