Barry Gordon Berquist

Barry Gordon Berquist passed away of cancer Tuesday morning, August 16,2005. He died at home in the arms of his wife Abby, surrounded by loved ones.
Born May 1, 1965 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a Journeyman Sheet Metal worker out of Local #88. Barry recently earned his bachelors degree in business.
A graduate of Rancho High School, Barry achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He served two years in the Mexico Vera Cruz mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He married his sweetheart, Abby Dixon on September 13,1986 in the St. George Temple for time and all eternity. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he most recently served as the Elders Quorum President.
His mother Carlyn Wilson Bergquist preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Abby;sons, Adam 16, Jake 12, Brock 11; daughters,Tess 6 and Bryn 3; parents Gordon and Kathi; brothers, Brad, Brent and Bryce; sisters Becky Frogley, Lori Swainston, Annie Burns and Jennifer Gossard; stepbrother, Rob Bunker;stepsisters, Becci Hadfield, Joni Crompton and Tausha Torrez.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 18,2005 at Bunkers Mortuary-926 Las Vegas Boulevard North.
Services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, August 19,2005
at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Chapel located at Monte Cristo and Oakey with viewing prior to services from 11:00 a.m-11:45 a.m. Private burial will follow.
