Betty Christopher

Betty Ann Christopher age 84 passed away peacefully with family by her
side on April 5, 2019. She was born April 16, 1934, in Des Moines, New
Mexico. She graduated high school in Des Moines, NM then attained a
business degree in Amarillo, TX. She moved to Albuquerque where she
married Harry Christopher later moving to Las Vegas, NV where they
eventually divorced. Betty called Las Vegas her home for 57 years and
loved it here. She worked selling Avon for many years then went back to
her civil service career as a secretary then onto being a pharmacy
technician for the Veteran's Administration until her retirement. Betty
volunteered in many youth organizations through the years helping out
wherever there was a need. She loved children, animals and the outdoors.
She is survived by her daughter Alice (Lonnie) Sproul, grandchildren
Brandon (Tanya) Sproul, Lacey (Lukas) Tom, Kaley (Chase) Chapin, and 5
great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held April 16, 2019, at
Bunkers Mortuary located at 925 N. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
Viewing will take place at 1:00 p.m., services to begin at 2:00 p.m. with
a graveside service to immediately follow.
