He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Bolden; father, Nathan Bolden; sister Rossie Lee Bolden; and brother, Roosevelt Bolden.
C.L is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rosie; sons, Callthorp "Cal" (Stacey) Bolden, Jr. and Rodney Bolden; daughter Pamela(Demetrius) Woods; granddaughter, Shontee Johnson, Jassa Bolden, Devon Smith and Alexia Scales; grandsons Malik Woods, Kiyan Flanagan; great-granddaughters, Kayla and Beyonca Johnson, Nia Reddin and Taylor Koempel; brothers, Nathanial and George Bolden; and sisters, Joanne Bolden-Kline, Arneitha and Marie Bolden
