Obituary for Charles Sherman Price Jr
After a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease, Charles Sherman Price Jr, passed on to the next life on February 24, 2020 at Henderson Hospital, to hike heaven's golden trails. His mind and body are now free to explore and discover the beauties of heaven and to greet his parents and loved ones. Known as Sherman most of his life, he was born in Brigham City, Utah and was the youngest child of Eva Carol Townsend and Charles Sherman Price. With his parents and two siblings, Clarence Duane (Price) Dahlem, and Carol Penelope (Price) Schupe, he moved around the western United States until the family settled in North Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1950s. Sherman was the only member of his family to graduate from college, Dixie College, and earned a master's degree, UNLV. He became a Certified Managerial Accountant working for Nevada Power Company and Saguaro Power among others, specializing in the utility industry. He was an avid Boy Scouter and loved camping, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Connie Sue (Haynes) Price, four children, Steven David Price, Pamela Sue (Price) Robinson, Douglas Scott Price, and Matthew Charles Price, and twelve grandchildren, Ashley Price, Natalie Price, Audrey Robinson, Megan Price, Kylie Price, Ty Robinson, Annika Price, Corrine Price, MacKenzi Price, Luke Robinson, Rachel Price, and Amanda Price. The funeral will be at the Henderson Black Mountain Stake Center on March 7, at 1 pm with viewing at 12:30. Interment will be at Bunkers Memory Gardens Memorial Park, 7251 W Lone Mountain Rd Las Vegas, NV 89108.
