Cornelia Hendrika Wolleswinkle-Hoogland was born in Amsterdam, Holland and resided in Las Vegas for 42 years. Cornelia surived World War II as a single parent, taking care of a daughter and elderly mother and others in desperate times. As a naturalized citizen, she loved this country and all it had afforded her family. Cornelia loved the Las Vegas area with its majestic beauty and loved to drive to many beautiful sites. She worked for many years in support of the Annual Lobster & Craft Fair and other worthy workd at Christ Church Episcopal here in Las Vegas. Cornelia took great pride in her family and enjoyed their success. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Henry Hoogland, Sr. who passed away in 1991;daughter Evelyn Anderson;and granddaughter, Debra Anderson, Cornelia is survied by her son, Henry Googland;daughter, Kristine Lynch;grand-children, Corena Wickett, Henry C.J. Hoogland, Katie Adams, Ned Hoogland, William Williams and Nicholas Lynch; and great-grandchildren, Rebecca Wickett, Jayden Hoogland, Madeline Hoogland, Jacob Wickett, Abey Hoogland, Ryan Adams and Revyn Adams.
