Daniel E. Elliott, 72 of Pahrump, Nevada, formerly a long time resident of Las Vegas, passed away on February 6,2007.
Dan was born on April 26,1934 in Los Angeles to Lauphine Daniel-Elliott and John Edward Elliott who both preceded him in death.
Dan grew up on a farm in Dovercreek, Colorado. He moved to Las Vegas in 1949 and graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1952. he moved to Pahrump in 2000.
Dan served in the U.S. military and was a Korean War veteran. Dan married Donna Gay Stubbs of Boulder City in September 1955.
From their union, they had four children. Debra Jean Stowater, Dennis Elliott ( deceased), Mike Elliott and Michele Ross; and three granddaughters, Dennis Elliott, Danielle Stowater and Mandy Ross. Dan's early hobbies were drag racing. He raced at tracks in California, Utah and Arizona to include the Henderson and Stardust racetracks in Nevada. In his later years, Dan's passion was radio controlled model airplanes. He was a member of the Pahrump Valley Model Aviators. Dan retired in 1997 from Action Machine and Parts as co-owner.
