Darlene Day, born on March 15th, 1931, in Springfield, Utah, peacefully departed this world on March 13th, 2024 with her Daughters by her side. Darlene was the beloved daughter to Christopher Day, a coal miner, and Frances Day a devoted Mother., who was a nurturing presence in Darlene's life. Darlene leaves behind a legacy of love through her three daughters, eleven grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She had a passion for art & literature which carried forth a profound appreciation for knowledge and creativity in her children and grandchildren.
In a world of uncertainty, Darlene stood as a pillar of consistency, offering solace and understanding to those around her. Her remarkable ability to listen without judgement touched countless hearts, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her. Darlene was a charitable person, and taught her children the value of generosity. She was a talented artist in her own right. Darlene's paintings, steeped in the tradition of cowboy art, captured images of the American west with breathtaking beauty. Her devout faith guided her journey, yet she embraced all with open arms. Darlene's memory will continue to illuminate all of our lives, reminding us to embrace compassion and understanding, always. You will be missed deeply; in due time we will say our 'Hello's' again.
