Delfina Guzman De Lozoya

Our dear beautiful mother Delfina Lozoya at the age of 94, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. She was born on May 8, 1930, in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a devoted wife, mother and a treasured grandma (Buelis.) She married Jose G. Lozoya and together had nine children. She loved her family fiercely, beloved by all her family, beloved in her community and by her church congregation. She was a great cook and loved to cook her children's favorite meals, she loved singing, especially in church. Our mother was very hospitable and opened her doors to everyone. She was a devoted Christian and member of the Church of God (Seventh Day), Delfina's greatest passions encompassed her children, nurturing her grandchildren, and contributing to the growth of her church community.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jose G. Lozoya and she is survived by her nine (9) children: Irma and her husband Manuel Hernandez, Luisa and her husband Ray Carpenelli, Roberta Alicia and her husband Jose Hernandez, Toni and her husband David Semenza, Jose Lozoya and his wife Carmen, Juan P. Lozoya, Raul Lozoya, George Lozoya and his wife Carmen, and Erica Lozoya. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren and two (2) sisters, Manuela Ortega y Florencia Hidalgo. Delfina leaves a legacy of strength, compassion, and unconditional love.
