Della Elizabeth Coates, 87, a resident of Las Vegas since 1950, passed away on Wednesday, October 25,2006.
She was born on June 17,1919, in Atlanta and grew up in Alabama.
Della was a retired telephone operator for Centel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Lee Coates; and son, Hugh "Lee" Coates.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Stein of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Cheri (Donald) Gwinner of Arizona, Ron Stein of Las Vegas, Billy (Melody) Stein of California, Tammi (Chris) Snipes of Las Vegas, Michael(Cheri) Coates of Las Vegas, Matthew Coates of Utah, and Timothy Coates of Las Vegas; and great-grandchildren, Donald (Frankie) Gwinner III of Colorado,Christopher and Joshua Snipes of Las Vegas, Eric Gwinner of Arizona, Rachael Coates of Las Vegas, and Andrew and Melissa Stein of California.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 31,2006
10-11 a.m.
