Diana Margaret Rutledge

Diana Margaret Rutledge, a vibrant spirit known for her wit, energy, and unmistakable sense of style, passed away on October 8, 2024.  She was a beloved mother and devoted wife whose bold personality and classy demeanor left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Diana is survived by her loving husband, James Arthur Rutledge, and her son, James Michael Rutledge.

She was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Sharmaine Rutledge, her mother, Jean Pease, her stepfather, Norman Pease, and her in-laws, Louise and Arthur Rutledge Sr. She also mourned the loss of her brother-in-law, Ivory Lee Rutledge, along with several adored nephews and nieces: Daniel Carr, Craig Rutledge, Patrick Baldwin, Netisha Bryant, and Kymberly Rutledge.

Left to mourn her passing are her brothers, Tony Scoles and Rick Scoles; her sisters, Tina Schnyder (Gerald), and Tracy Reason; her brother-in-law, John Arthur Rutledge; sisters-in-law Stella Rutledge Clowers, Debra Rutledge, Albertha Rutledge, Helen Williams, Eunice Richardson (Terrance), and Vanessa Rutledge; along with a host of nieces and nephews who adored her.

Known for her quick wit and bold spirit, Diana filled every room with laughter and light. She had an innate ability to make those around her feel special and valued. Her passion for life was reflected not only in her fashion choices but also in the love she poured into her family.

A celebration of Diana’s life will be held on October 23rd and 24th. The Viewing will be held at Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary from 5pm  to 8pm on October 23rd. Funeral Services will be at Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary at 12pm on October 24th. Graveside Service will be held at Bunkers Eden Vale Cemetery at 2pm on October 24th. Repast directly to follow Graveside service at Eden Vale Mortuary.

Diana will be deeply missed, but her vibrant spirit and the beautiful memories she created will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
