Donald Gene Seghetti, 67 of Las Vegas, passed away on Monday, March 5,2007
He was born on August 1,1939 in Toluca, Illinois and was a resident of Las Vegas for seven years.
Donald married Linda Ponder on May 27,1976, in Peoria, Ill. After graduating from Bradley University, he started his own insurance and real estate company in Peoria. He owned and operated Town and Country Bowl and Northgate Lanes in Galesburg, Ill.
Donald attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Las Vegas. He last worked in Brown and Brown Insurance Company and Assurance LTD. He was an avid bowler and known for his kindness and generosity. Cancer finally won the battle and he will be remembered as a "King" among men.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nildo and Amelia Palumbo; sisters, Barbara Miles, Loretta Hadley and Joyce Seghetti;
He is survived by his wife, Linda Seghetti;adult daughters, Barb Hunsinger, Suzanne(Michael) Hopkins, and Becci (Don) Litterst; three minor children, Natali Amelia, Nicholas Albert and Anthony Gene Seghetti8; and seven grandchildren, Colbi and Corri Schofield, Seth and Emily Cox, Ashleigh and Tiffani Hunsinger, and Kaleb Keyster.
