Dora Jean Owen

Dora Jean White Owen, 74, passed away Friday, June 2,2006, in St. George Utah. She was born in Las Vegas to Johnson Everett and Iris Waite White. She married Dean T. Loveland in 1949, and they were later divorced. In 1994, she was sealed to Lawrence A. Owen in the Las Vegas Temple. She lived most of her life in Las LVegas. She retired as a bookkeeper from Genuine Auto Parts. She loved to travel, camp, fish and crochet. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and serving others. She is survived by one son, Tom (Gail) Loveland of Enoch, Utah; and three daughters, Diane Leavitt of Logandale, Jackque(Steve) Holyoak of Overton, and Barbara(Les) Whitmore of Cedar City, Utah;22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Karen (Barry) Chandler of Sacramento, and Patsy Peterson of Gallatin, Tenn; She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and her brother, Jack Everett White. Visitation will be Thursday, June 8,2006 6-8 p.m. Bunkers Mortuary 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North Visitation- Friday, June 9,2006 9-10:00 a.m. prior to the 10:00 a.m. Services Overton LDS Chapel Overton, Nevada Interment will follow at the Bunkerville Cemetery at approximately 2:00 p.m.
