He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris ( Shaw) McDonald; father, Carroll McDonald; and wife, Cathi (Wampole) McDonald of Fairchild, WI..
He is survived by his sisters, Janet(Donald)Svardal of Sandstone, Minn.;brother, Daen(Linda)McDonald of Frisco, Texas;daughters, Jenna(Richard)Stanford, and Dorothy McDonald, both of Fairchild, WI.;son Scott(Amy) McDonald of Mondovi, WI..
Grandchildren, Morgan, Audrey,Monica, Devin and Avery; and nieces and nephews in Arizona, Texas, Kansas and Minnesota.
Duane was born in Minneapolis, he graduated from Edina High School and worked as an auto mechanic, bookkeeper and fork life operator.
He lived most of his life in the Las Vegas area, and will be remembered for his gentle spirit, intelligence and innate independence.
