Eddie was a lifelong resident of Las Vegs. He was born September 10,1919 in Las Vegas to Mike Sam Pinjuv and Frances Mainer Pinjuv. He graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1935. He completed a Masters degree in Business from the Universityof Nevada/Las Vegas in 1979. Pinjus opereated a service station for Richfield Oil Company. He held many civic position. He wa a member of the Breakfasters Lions Club at the time of his death. He was active in the Knights of Columbus and served as grand knight, Las Vegas Council and served two terms as State Deputy. He was involved in Discover Aviation Air shows. and was involved in the Boulder Dam Area Council, boy Scouts of America for four years. Eddie held a private pilots license, was a member of the Air Force Association and camptain of the Nellis Senior Squadron, U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol.
He is survived by his sons, Matt and David of Las Vegas, Ted of Tucson, AZ; former wife, Jackie Pinjuv of Las Vegas;brothers, Charlie of Albuquerque,Wally,John,Mike and Fred of Las Vegas;and sister, Evana Pettyof Nashville, Tenn. The family requests that contributions be sent in lieu of flowers to any Catholic charity or Nathan Adelson Hospice.
