Elizabeth Ann Bearden

Betty was born February 22, 1934 to Gilbert and Lillian Westlund in Winner, SD. She is the oldest of 7 children. Betty attended the 5th street grammar school and graduated from Las Vegas High School. As a young girl she worked at the Central Telephone Company and later would be a PBX Operator at the Tropicana Hotel. She enjoyed over 44 years with the love of her life Eugene Bearden, before he passed away in 2001.

She is survived by her children and stepchildren Michael Bearden (Lisa); Daniel Bearden (Karla); and Gary Bearden (Diana). Jimmy Bearden (Mary Jo) all of Las Vegas and Sharon Turner (Victor) of Chino Valley, AZ. Siblings Sally Underberg of Sioux Falls, SD; Daniel Westlund (Patricia) of Las Vegas; Richard Westlund of Sun City, CA; Dorothy Wagley of Las Vegas; Amelia Katherine Westlund of Las Vegas. 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Lillian Westlund, her husband Eugene Bearden; daughter Cheryl Lageson; brother David Westlund; stepdaughter Terry Bearden and great grand-daughter Eve Borden.
