Elva Clare Downing

Elva Clare Downing, 84 years old, joined her Lord and Savior on July 8, 2018. Elva was born in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was a faithful military wife to her late husband John.  Elva is survived by her daughters, Ruth Graham (Neil), Diane Ziegler (Roger), Eugenia Kingham; Son, Kelly Downing (Lynne); brother, Carl Wilson; grandchildren, Chris Yukubousky (Jackie), Sara Yukubousky, Timothy Kingham (Amy), Scott Kingham (Christine), Daniel Kingham, David Graham (Theresa), Terry Kalagian , Jonathan Downing, Christin Hinton (Sean); great-grandchildren, Taylor Kingham, Rylee Kingham, Lauren Kingham, Leif Graham (Maggie), Connor Graham, Julie Graham; great- great grandchildren Chase and Calla Graham.
Elva loved the outdoors, especially Mt Charleston, and enjoyed time with her friends and daughters for breakfast, Taco Bell, or ice cream.  She loved reading, knitting and writing letters to friends.
There will be a celebration of life at the Event Cabin on Mt Charleston on July 21st at noon – 3pm.  Come join as we celebrate the memory of this beautiful woman with food and fellowship.
