Emert Eugene Fisher, a former worker with the CAT Transportation Company and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, died on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at age 63.
Emert was born in Springfield, Ohio and lived in Las Vegas for the past 10 years.

Emert is survived by his son, Darris Lynn Fisher; a grandson, Darris Lynn Fisher, Jr, both of Cleveland; three sisters, Janice Fisher, Cynthia Fisher and Marcia Garrison, all of Springfield, Ohio; and four brothers, Fred and Harry of Las Vegas, Rev. Melvin Fisher of Australia and Julius Fisher of Springfield, Ohio.
Preceded in death by his parents, Emert E.II and Isabell Fisher; and two brothers, Virgil and LaVal Fisher. He was of the Christian Faith.
