Esther B. Jacka
June 22, 1916 — September 18, 2005
Esther was born in Beaver Utah, the daughter of Stephen F and Lelia F. Barton.A resident for 60 years, she was a homemaker. Esther was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a member of the Nevada Lariats 50's and 60's, a former crossing guard for the City of Las Vegas, PTA president of J.D. Smith School and grandparent aide, special needs at Miller Elementary School for 14 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. "Guy" Jacka;brother, Penn Barton; sister, Margaret Harris; and son-in-law Elvin C. Bower.
She is survived by one son, Bart(Joanie) Jacka of Reno;daughter, Zelma Bower of Las Vegas; one brother, Steve Barton of Portage,MI.
Five Grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
