Franciana Jones

Our Loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and Friend passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025, surrounded with loved ones in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 72. Franciana was born in Arcola, Mississippi on Tuesday May 6, 1952, to Betty Gene (Louis)Grant. As a small child, she moved to California with her grandmother, Mary Louis (Madea) and lived in several cities (Paso Robles CA, St. Louis Obispo CA,) before making a permanent home in San Jose, CA., where she grew up with a host of family and friends. After attending Overfelt High School, Franciana decided to spread her wings and explore life. Amongst her exploring of life, she gained a son, had two children, and worked with special needs children.

 She did not stop there but went back to school and graduated with a Medical Assistant Degree from San Jose City College. In her later years, Franciana relocated to Las Vegas, NV in 2014 to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She was and is, "A Great Mom, Grandma, Grammy and GG", as she continues to live in our hearts. Franciana had a strong passion for Family, Friends, Bingo, Blackjack and Enjoying Life. She was an awesome cook, who cooked with love and enjoyment for her friends & family. Franciana was a Straight Shooter; would tell you like it is, when you did not want to hear it, and when you needed it the most. She was fun to be around, Loved Hard and could remember events from the past like it was yesterday. But most important, with all of her life challenges, she was a strong fighter and endured to the end! Frannie Fran Fran, you will Forever be in Our Hearts and Loving Memory. As we bid farewell to Franciana's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left behind, but celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Franciana has bequeathed us. Though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding us through the labyrinth of life's journey.
