Gary Renaurd Alexander

January 31, 1954 — July 15, 2019

Gary Renaurd Alexander Sr was born January 31st, 1954 to Martha Pace and James Alexander in Paso Robles, California. He was reunited with his beloved wife Belinda in eternal peace and serenity on July 15th, 2019 in Las Vegas, NV.
He joined the United States Air Force in 1973. Just before joining the service he met Paulette Grace and in 1975 the couple welcomed a son, Gary Alexander Jr. They divorced after several years and in 1984 he met Belinda Collins. The two were joined in holy matrimony on January 29th, 1987 and were happily married for 31 years until her death on August 14th, 2018. The marriage produced a daughter (Amber) and a son (Anthony).
In 1993, he retired from the military and moved his family to Las Vegas, Nevada. He remained a contractor with the USAF for several years before fully adjusting to Las Vegas life and taking civilian work. His health started to decline shortly after, but he still led a happy life thanks to the support of his family.
Gary was known for his frankness; he expressed his opinion freely and regularly. At times it could be harsh, but he always held love behind his criticism. He simply wanted those around him to be the best versions of themselves.
He was preceded by his wife Belinda, his father James, and his brothers: James, George, Robert, and Ulysses.
His memory will be cherished by his mother Martha; his brother Lamar; his children: Gary, Amber, and Anthony; and his grandchildren Sophia Rose and Taylor Renee.
