Glen A. Hughes, 63 of Las Vegas, passed away on May 27,2006.
He was born February 6,1943 in Ohio and resided in Nevada for 53 years.
His most recent profession was that of security guard.
Glen was proud to serve his country as a U.S. Navy Seal, volunteering for two tours in Vietnam between 1963 and 1966. Afterward, he remained an active member of the VFW and the American Legion.
Glen won numerous trophies while racing for the AHRA. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in nature.
Glen is survived by his wife of 29 years, Shiela Hughes; children, Teresa, Rebecca, Philip and Jeffrey; his brothers, Philip Hughes, Jack Fuller of Henderson; sister, Peggy Foss of Minot, N.D. and seven grandchildren.
No services are scheduled.
He will be missed by his family and many friends.
