Gomer "Hank" Pralle, age 88, a Las Vegas resident for over half a century, died May 3,2004 at Nathan Adelson Hospice. Born in Latimer, Iowa, February 12,1916, he served in the U.S. Army in Australia during World War II. He settled in Las Vegas in 1950 and was the owner of Pralle Plastering from 1952-1992. Evidence of his work as a highly respected contractor can be seen today on many of Las Vegas' most prominent buildings and residences. He was predeceased by brothers, Orval, a veteran of the local food and beverage industry and Wayne, a local contractor for many years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris(nee Jeffries) Pralle, son David, a daughter, Roberta"Robbie"Jenkins, grandson Matthew Jenkins, all of Las Vegas and a sister, Bernice Anderson of Burbank, California.
