Harold Lawrence Roy

Harold Lawrence Roy passed away peacefully at his home on February 8th, 2021. He was born May 6th, 1932 in Veracruz, MO as the second of 8 children. He joined the army at 17 and fought in the Korean War. After his service he worked in the oil fields until 1964 when he took a job at the Nevada Test Site. After his retirement he remained in Las Vegas until his death. He loved to fish and play poker. Most of his days the last 20 years were spent on the front porch with his son Larry who he was very close with. He had 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. We were quite fortunate to have the time with him that we had. He will be greatly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by: Brothers, Michael Roy, Darrel Roy, James Roy. Sister: Beulah Peterson. Parents: Lawrence and Lizetta Roy.

He is survived by: Brother, Jerry Roy. Sisters, Vivian Gerke, Sue Ady. Children, Mike Roy, Sandy Nelson, Larry Roy
