James was born in Byars, Oklahoma. A Las Vegas resident for 45 years, he was a salesman of commercial refrigeration.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Faye;onesone, James C. Stafford III and two daughters, Vicki Sessa and Kimberly Fletcher, all of Las Vegas;two sisters, Mary Bryson of Dallas Texas and Pat Davis of Anna, Texas.
Three grandchildren and one great-grandson
