Janjte "Jan" was born in Ede,Holland on November 28,2038.
She married R. Hughes, in South End, England.
She became a U.S. Citizen in Las Vegas in 1972 which she considered her greatest achievement.
Janjte worked as a food and coctail waitress and dealer of games.
An accident cuse the loss of her leg.
At the time of her death, she was still running her flower shop,"Paradise Florist". Her florist was a well known establishment in Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter;her mother;sister and her daughter, Phyllis.
Jantje is survived by her husband, Ronald; daughter, Pam Richey; grandchildren who she raised Adam, Angel and Ace of Las Vegas; and grandchildren, Kyle, Ashley and Jennifer all of Boise,Idaho; her father of Holland and two brothers.
Burial took place at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Thursday,January 5,2005.
A Memorial Service was held on Friday, January 6th,2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Bunkers Mortuary.
