Javier Hernandez Ayapan

Javier Hernandez Ayapan (Pluma) passed away peacefully in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 28, 2024 at age 67.

He was born in Guatemala in 1956 to parents Jose and Damiana (nee Ayapan) Hernandez and moved to the United States in the 1980s.

Javier worked as a gardener in landscaping and took great pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces for his clients.

He loved fishing at Lake Mead and Hoover Dam and also had a great sense of humor.  He was always making people laugh.

Pluma is survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  His family are taking him back to Guatemala for services.

He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
