Jeanette Oxborrow Clark, 85, passed away on January 10, 2024, in Las Vegas. A native Nevadan, she was born on July 12, 1938, in Ely, Nevada, to John Earl Oxborrow and Selina Carter Oxborrow. Jeanette’s family moved to Getchell, Nevada, in 1942, and she also lived in Lund, Nevada, and Sparks, Nevada, where she graduated from Sparks High School in 1955. Jeanette attended Brigham Young University, where she majored in accounting with a music minor and met her husband, Malcolm G. Clark. After graduating from BYU in 1959, Jeanette and Malcolm were married in August 1959 in the Los Angeles California Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Jeanette was an active member of the Las Vegas community for sixty-five years, working in various capacities in service organizations, including the Las Vegas Jaycees, Junior League of Las Vegas, American Mothers Nevada, and Nevada School of the Arts. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in numerous callings and in the Las Vegas Nevada Temple. She loved her family and friends, painting, and playing the piano and organ.

Jeanette is survived by her six children: son Dennis H. Clark, daughter Chery Clark, son Craig D. Clark, and daughters Tamara Clark Iverson (Darin Iverson), Erlene Clark (Stephen Huffaker), and Allyson Clark (Eric Racusin). She is also survived by her sister, Alice Joanne Oxborrow Bunker, sixteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm G. Clark, sisters Lois Oxborrow Lichlyter and Erlene Oxborrow, and brother Phil Melvin Oxborrow.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (10550 Alta Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada 89144) at 11:00 am, with visitation at 10:00 am at the same location. Interment will take place at Lund Cemetery in Lund, Nevada.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Aid Fund or to Nathan Adelson Hospice of Las Vegas.
