Joan Isobel Tanksley

“Kindness and grace is the true essence of life”

Joan Isobel Tanksley was born in Canada on May 29, 1944.  Joan’s journey of life gracefully ended at home in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 14, 2025 at the age of 80.  She touched countless lives with warmth and kindness leaving friends and family who knew her with loving memories of her kind and graceful spirit.  Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joan leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones will remain eternal – a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Tanksley and her children, Kim and Guy. She is survived by her Grandson, Tye Irick.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at

Bunkers Mortuary Chapel,

925 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery,

1900 Veterans Memorial Dr,

Boulder City, NV 89005.
