John Henry Lane passed away on June 29, 2020 at his home in Las Vegas Nevada. He was born January 21, 1937 in Newell, IA to James and Wilma (Witzke) Lane.
He married the love of his life, Nancy (Hillygus) Wildes on February 4, 1965 in Fillmore, MN. They were together 53 wonderful years, until Nancy's passing in 2018.
John is survived by his sister, Joyce Groff of Iowa; children: John Lane of Chesterton, IN; Howard Lane of Kalamazoo, MI; Douglas Lane of Chesterton, IN; Michele Kuder of Chesterton, IN; Laureen Stewart of Chesterton, IN; Theresa Lane of Tuscon, AZ; and Danette Wildes of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy; his parents, James and Wilma; brothers Howard and James; sister, Barbara Harris; son, Scott Wildes; daughter, Jodi Wildes; grandson, Travis Lane; and son-in-law, Ron Kuder.
Services will take place on July 7, 2020 at Bunker's Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada.
