Jonn Brooks Herrera

Jonn Brooks Herrera was born January 25th, 1982 in Las Vegas, Nevada to his father William Herrera and his mother Mary Beth Herrera.

Jonn passed away on the morning of Friday, March 22, 2024; he was 42 years old. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Herrera and his three children Xander, Grace, and Hope Herrera, along with his mother, father, step mother, Kimberly Herrera, and his eleven brothers and sisters: Jeremy, Jared, Jenner, Michelle, Jesse, Mason, Gino, Megan, Alexis, Nico, and Sydney Herrera. He is also remembered by his nieces and nephews, Caleb, Mckenna, Madelyn, Sophia, Callie, Ryan, Gianna, and Freya as well as his sister and brother-in-laws, aunts, uncles, and other loving family members.

Jonn was loved by so many. His heart was kind and always filled with willingness to help others; his love and generosity touched many souls. Jonn spent many years serving his community with food donations for those in need, and was also a faithful member and volunteer for the Water of Life Lutheran Church. Jonn loved studying the Bible, and serving Jesus and his church.

When Jonn was not dedicating his time to those in need, he was most likely in his kitchen cooking for his family. Jonn loved to cook. He was the family Head Chef and you couldn’t keep him out of the kitchen. He was creative and innovative with his meals and made the most delicious food you’d ever taste. In his down time, Jonn also loved to snuggle and eat snacks with his kids while they watched his favorite show, Everybody Loves Raymond.

Jonn’s love for cooking, his kindness, his love for Jesus, and his love for others will live on through his children, his family, and his memory. Jonn was a light in this world that will never fade. His loving nature and all his good works impacted so many lives and he will forever live on in our hearts.
