Joyce Rose Marie Bartmus

Joyce Rose Marie Bartmus, 95, passed away peacefully at her home in Las Vegas, NV on August 22, 2024. Born in London, England on August 19, 1929, to Benjamin and Lucy Storey, Joyce became a naturalized U.S. citizen in the 1990s.

A distinguished real estate investor and business owner, Joyce was also deeply passionate about the arts. Her love for ceramics and painting enriched the lives of many families and friends throughout her life. Known for her kindness, generosity, and a heart of gold, Joyce's warmth touched everyone she met.

She cherished her family above all and found joy in traveling, cooking, and enjoying good company. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Bartmus Jr.; her parents, Benjamin and Lucy Storey; her brother, Brian Storey; her son, John Seymour, and her daughter, Dawn Soro.

Joyce is survived by her stepsons, Peter Bartmus III (Nena Bartmus) and Russell Bartmus (Karen Bartmus); and her sister, Gloria Baron. Her cherished grandchildren, Marlene Warke (Seymour), Kelsey Seymour, Brenda Andrews, Terry Bartmus, Peter Bartmus IV, and Christina Corridon (Bartmus) and Matthew Bartmus. Her beloved great-grandchildren: Harlowe and Hunter Warke, Maddox Culey, Bailey and Brooke Andrews, Cody Dodge, Isla Snaid, and PJ and Danni Bartmus.
