Juan Carlos Zepeda

Juan Carlos Zepeda was born on 12th of March in 1969 to his parents Juan and Petra Zepeda. Though he was born in Michoacan Mexico, his family soon migrated to the United States where he grew up in Anaheim California alongside his siblings: Teresa, Maria, Alfredo, Francisco, and Jose. Growing up, Juan loved sports and even joined little league baseball.

After graduating high school, he married and had 4 kids: Carmen, Juan, Miguel and Tiffany. After the birth of his first child, he and his family moved to Las Vegas. After his marriage ended, he never remarried but had a loving companion, Marcy, who had 3 children, Marylin, Jonathan, and Jacob to whom Juan became a wonderful father figure for.  Marcy and Juan later became and stayed great friends.

He was a security guard and worked nights to provide for his family for the majority of his life. When he didn’t work, he loved to spend time with family and attend his kids’ extra-curricular activities like dance performances and wrestling matches. He loved “carne asadas” at his father’s house, Superbowl Sundays at his brother's house and celebrating holidays with family. His favorite holiday was Halloween where he went all out in his costume every year and loved to give out candy to trick or treaters. Juan had a loving caring nature and was never afraid to be playful or silly to put a smile on a person’s face. He often opened his home to those who sought a place to stay. He was a doting father, great brother, and loving son.

In his later years, Juan struggled with his diabetes and had many health complications. He passed away at age 55 in his home in the early hours of May 21st 2024. He is survived by his children, several children, brothers, sisters, father and a host of other family members and friends. It is a bittersweet time on earth now with Juan’s passing. He will be missed immensely by all who knew him, but he has now joined his mother Petra and bother Francisco in eternal peace.
