Kenneth G Lowry

Kenneth Gerard Lowry, 72 years of age, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at his home in Las Vegas NV.

Kenneth (Kenny) was Born in Queens, New York to the late Kenneth and Jewel Lowry on December 13, 1951. He was the oldest of 6 children, 2 preceded him in death.

Kenneth married the late Delores Lowry in 1977 and their love remained strong for decades even after a recent divorce. But always said he only loved one woman and was right by her side when she passed in June 2021.

Kenneth was always the life of any party. To know him was to laugh with him and not just laugh but be in stitches for hours. He always, even when serious, knew how to get a laugh out of anyone who was around him. Kenneth was helpful too. He was known around the neighborhood as “The Hood Uber" and would get you where you need to go, but you better be on time. Kenneth was a cab driver for 30 years in Las Vegas and knew every nook and cranny of the city. He relished his independence and refused to relinquish it up until that dreadful day. He lived his life on his own terms, and we should not expect anything less from his homegoing.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his loving memory of his siblings Craig, Stacia, and Alicia. His children Jamont, Shawnay, and Vaneisha. Nieces Naima and Electra. His nephews Sadeek and Steven. 14 grandchildren. And 3 great grandchildren Evanna, Ava, and Noah. A host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
