Lillie Jean Redmond (Jean) was born February 29, 1936 this day was special because shew was born on a leap year. Lillie Jean was born to Lilmon and Bertha Daniels both deceased. She was born in Shelby county Texas, she was the baby girl of twelve siblings; nine proceeded her in death. Jean received early education in Texas; she encouraged all young people to obtain as much education as possible. Jean accepted Christ at an early age; she attended church on a regular basis until her health failed her. As a young woman she moved to Los Angeles, California, where she met and married Alvin Redmond to this union one child was born. Jean lived in Los Angeles for over twenty five years, after retiring Jean and her husband relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. Jean worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District and retired, she also worked for the Clark County School District for several more years upon moving to Las Vegas. Jean’s hobbies were sewing, cooking, fishing, bowling, dancing and gambling in her free time. Left to cherish her memories her only child Anthony Redmond; one grandson Anthony Redmond Jr. and one granddaughter Sherrie Redmond; 5 great grandchildren Cheyenne, Treve, Kyira, Kasja, Kyland and one sister Doris (Daniels) Dirks of Corpus Christi, Texas; and one brother W. Leo Daniels of Garrison, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
