Louise Ella Jones

Ella Louise Jones, 68 peacefully entered her Lord's presence on November 27, 2018, at 6:52 a.m. from North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Ella also was affectionately known as "Muyee, Lou, Grand Ma or Great Granny (G.G.)" to close family and friends. She was born to Louis Benneti Jones., and Lee Esther Anderson on September 27, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois. She attended DuSable High School and worked as Security Guard for Andy Fran Services in Chicago, Illinois. Ella was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who had a calm, generous, humble, peaceful and sweet spirit. She was a woman full of adventure and abundance of being intrepid. There was no sense of urgency unless she was headed to the table to eat her favorite dish of chitterlings. She enjoyed dancing, listening, to dusties, playing Tonk, and taking the spur of the moment road trips. She was not much of a talker; however, much was learned with watching her. In addition, to the aforementioned, she had an unshakeable love and faith in Jesus Christ. She leaves her beloved children Toledo (Deric) Mitchell, Theresa, Harrison (Andy) Williams, Nicholas (Nick) Howard and Rochelle (Boonie) Howard. Her grand-children Demetrius Sr., Dominique, Darius (Jasmine), Damita (Anthony) Bagley, Harriet, Theresia, Harrison III, Theodore, Aja, Imari, and Gabriel. Her great-grandchildren Demetrius Jr., Dejah, D'hari, D'hara, Jamarri, Jace, Jameer, Ariya and Jameel (preceded her in death), Aubrey, Da'Majin, Darin, Mehkya, Roshon, and Rayvan. Her father Louis Sr., her mother Lee Esther, her brother Louis Jr., her sisters Esther Mary and Faithia Esther preceded her in death. Ella leaves to cherish her brother Louis Walter Jones of Chicago, Illinois, and sister Esther Jones-Thompson (William) of Minneapolis, Minnesota. A host of cousins, nephews, and nieces.
