Magdalene Partridge-Denby
Magdalene was born on May 27, 1934, in Mortin, Mississippi to Warren Dishmon and Olivia Calloway.
Magdalene was the first of four children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband (Bobby Denby), three brothers (Warren Dishmon Jr., Lee W. Bell and George Dishmon); four children (Ronald Dishmon, Cheryl Washington, Lorretta Marie and Duane E. Partridge).
Magdalene is survived by her eight children (Denise Partridge of Hartsville, Missouri, Melba McGee of Las Vegas, NV, Georgette Partridge of Las Vegas, NV, Benny R. Partridge of Las Vegas, NV, Fredricka Hudson of Las Vegas, NV, Sandra Partridge of Las Vegas, NV, Stacey Denby of Las Vegas, NV, Kevin Partridge of Las Vegas, NV. She also leaves behind twenty-six grandchildren, Sixty-one great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and very close friends.
Magdalene never got a chance to graduate High school due to her having her first-born child but it did not deter search for learning because she could play her favorite game Jeopardy like a Champion of knowledge that she was. She became a cashier for many years, working diligently to take care of her children. She persevered beyond measure; no obstacle was ever too hard for her to overcome. She is now in the arms of a loving, kind, caring God who says "Good and faithful servant, well done".
