Mary Robinson Fisher, 98 of Indian Springs died Thursday, August 17,2006.
She was born on April 26,1908, in Kanab, Utah, to Henry David Robinson and Nellie Mabel Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Fisher; and only child, James E. Fisher,.
Sr. Mary is survived by four grandchildren, Larry (Mary) Fisher of Pahrump, James Fisher of Indian Springs, Matthew Fisher of Indian Springs and Sari (Russell) Highfield of Las Vegas; four great-grandchildren, Aaron (Kristen) Fisher of Indian Springs, Daniel Highfield of Las Vegas and Asha Fisher of Indian Springs; and one great great-grandchild, Callie Fisher of Pahrump.
Mary ran her own restaurants in the 20's and sang on the radio request line in the 30's. In the 40's, Mary and George ran a cattle ranch o the land where Laughlin is now. They moved to Indian Springs in 1951 to start working at the Test Site. Mary bought her present home in 1968. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mary was active in the Relief Society until the day she died. She always had some kind of craft project, and made many things. May was loved by all, and will be missed by all that knew her.
Services will be on Saturday, August 26th, 2006 at the Indian springs Senior Center.
