Michael Stephen Gibbs was killed in a hit and run traffic accident early, Friday, September 1,2006.
Mike was born in Lewiston, Maine, January 26,1973 at 11:02 p.m.
An avid Boston Red Sox fan, he could always be seen wearing a baseball cap and ready to debate any Yankee fan. Mike worked as a shop manager, trucker, waiter, and blackjack dealer before he found his niche as a pit boss and casino supervisor here in town at the Gold Coast and the Rio where he won a commendation from the Secret Service for discovering over $5,000 in counterfeit money in play at one of his tables.
Mike lost his sister, Melissa and leaves behind his father, Michael; mother, Alice; sister, Becky; grandparents, Doris and Dale; as well as stepsister, Kristin; stepmother, Linda; and ex-wife, Beth Collins.
His Vegas family, Steve, Geoff, Greg, Craig, and Michael's fiancée Karen, will miss him dearly.
Services are scheduled for Friday in Maine.
