Pamela Kay Lewis

On 06/14/1959 Raymond and Wanieta Avansino welcomed a beautiful baby girl into this world, Pamela Kay Avansino. Growing up Pamela developed a deep devotion to family, a love for animals (especially elephants & horses - which must be rode bareback!) and also a spit-fire Gemini temper that earned her the nickname "Hurricane" by her step-father Dale Iness. At 15, Pamela married Darrell Wayne Lewis and 2 years later had their daughter, Anecia Marie, followed by the birth of their son, Chad Wayne, three years later. She was married to Wayne for 19 years until his death. In 1994, Pam began her relationship with Charles Michael Wamsley, whom she loved with all her heart & soul. Together they built their dream home and spent 22 wonderful years with each other until his death in 2015. She was the most caring, giving, strongest, compassionate, hard-working & stubborn person you could ever hope to meet in a lifetime. As is known by all who knew her. In her spare time she enjoyed going to the movies, camping, fishing, playing games, hanging out with friends, restoring her 1975 Camaro to perfection and cooking (which she was extremely excellent at!). But nothing was more important to her than spending time with her family. Didn't matter what they were doing, just as long as they were doing it together. Her pride and joy were her kids, granddaughters Shyla, Halee & Abby, great-grandson Thaddeus Jax & of course, her animals. She worked at Anytime Plumbing for 24 years followed by the Venetian/Palazzo Hotel & Casino for 3 years, which she loved. We tragically lost this wonderful mother and rock of the family on Valentine's Day 2019 but her memory lives on forever in the hearts & minds of all who knew her. Til we see you again Pamela - we love you always & forever, you will never be forgotten!
