Raquel Esperon

Raquel Esperon Ward passed away peacefully in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 20, 2024 surrounded by the people closest to her.

She was 90 years old.

Raquel was born in Mexico and that is where she trained to be a Nurse.  She moved to the United States as a young woman and worked for many years as a Nurse's Aid.

She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

VISITATION will be on Saturday, 28 September from 9:00am to 10:00am in the Relief Society Room at the LDS Walnut & Carey Chapel, 2295 N. Walnut Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89115 with SERVICE to follow at 10:00am in the Chapel there.

Raquel will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 N. Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101 at noon, next to her beloved husband, Joseph Frank Ward who passed in 2013.
