Reece Hatfield

Reece Hatfield passed away on Sunday March 3, 2019. He is survived by his daughters Vonnie Hatfield of Las Vegas and Patricia McMurtry of Bayard, Nebraska. In addition to his daughters Reece had six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Reece's early career began during WWII where he learned his culinary skills as a Merchant Marine. After the war he spent the remainder of his career as a chef in many restaurants of Southern California and Las Vegas,Nevada.

Reece's avocational interests focused primarily around fishing and the love of his life.....motorcycles. He purchased, restored, sold and began the cycle again and again more times than anyone can recount. Reece was still seen riding the streets of Las Vegas along side his biker buddies from Jokers Wild well into his late nineties.

Reeces was a man who lived his life on his terms......just like the crooner sang....".I did it my way." He will be truly missed by family and friends alike. Rest in Peace Dad,,,XXXOOO
