Born in Harlen, Kentucky Aug. 1, 1940. Regina Maudella Harrison was born to her parents Zernie and Annie Phillips, the youngest of five sisters. From a small town she went on to live an amazing and full life. Her thirst for knowledge inspired her drive to continually pursue higher education that shaped the transition from scholar to teacher. Regina traveled the world, living in Countries and immersing herself in many Cultures such as Saudi Arabia and the Philippines.
In 1965 while living in Boston; Regina met Joseph Harrison that would spark a marriage spanning over 48 years. In 1970 the birth of their first son Troy Harrison began a family. In 1975 they welcomed their second son Styron Harrison. Together Joe and Regina managed their path in life with love, hard work, and rooted in their faith with GOD. Regina entertained through her scholastic experiences to enrich her life and entrench herself in law, banking, and volunteering.
Regina was well known for being a magnificent cook. The foundation of her home and family was comprised of a strong moral compass that she instilled in her children and shared with her grandchildren.
A loving soul and friend to many across the world. She dressed in elegance, moved with grace, spoke with etiquette, and sang like an Angel. She is now reunited with her loving husband and our Father in heaven.
