Regis, Leon Cichoski born April 15,1951 in Springdale, Pennsylvania. Regis was a resident of Las Vegas since 1970.
He died unexpectedly at home from heart failure on April 26,2006.
He was a devoted father and shared a close and loving relationship with each of his children. He was able to share in the joy of being a grandfather to four grandchildren, whom he abosolutely adored. He was a loving and caring son to his beloved parents, Leon and Margaret Cichoski, and he was equally close to his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He always made time for those he loved. Regis had a knack for salesmanship because he truly loved getting to know people. He worked as a salesman for most of his life working for companies large and small and running his own businesses at various times throughout his career. Most recently he was employed by Snack Man selling snack foods and novelties to various stores in Southern Nevada. Regis went out of his way every day of his life to make others feel good by sharing a joke, a friendly smile or a compliment. He was abundantly generous, hardworking, loyal, loving, unpretentious and unselfish. He enjoyed a good debate and he was passionate about his opionions on politics and current events. Regis was a true sports fan who always supported his home teams from Pittsburgh. Most of all he was an avid baseball fan and was involved in coaching youth baseball and playing in local softball leagues for decades. His son, Kris, shared his passion for the game and was a star player for Durango High School. He leaves behind his children, Jeffrey, Angel, Lauren and Kris Cichoski; grandchildren, Rebekah, Sarah, Adam, and Emma; sibblings, George Cichoski, Greg Cichoski, Marge Crevoiserat and Donna Rowley all of Las Vegas; many adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends; and his beloved girlfriend, Marti Chapman.
