She had a great love for her family. She grew up on a farm where she helped take care of the animals and garden. She learned how to cook and sew. As a teenager she worked at the Polar Queen in Payson, sewed slips, and did office work. Renee graduated from Payson High School in 1952.

She loved watching movies, religious talks and talent shows. Music and the piano were passions for her.  She couldn‘t wait to finish her chores so she could practice the piano.

Renee married David Rue Keele in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they raised six children and taught them to work hard, love God and encouraged each of them to develop their talents.

While raising her children, Renee did babysitting and ironing for other people.

Renee‘s favorite job was Keele’s Country Store in Henderson, Nevada selling fruit, vegetables, nuts, kitchen mills & mixers, vitalizers, and many other healthy items.

Renee did a lot of traveling to many countries in Europe as well as Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and many beautiful islands.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ was important to Renee, who served in several church callings including chorister, pianist, teacher, Young Women president, visiting teacher, temple ordinance worker, and full time missionary.
