Robert "Bob" Richard Lange
Robert, 69,passed away August 9th,2006 with his family by his side. He had battled cancer for nearly two years.
Bob was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, but his life took him to many places around the world while serving the U.S. Army. In 1963, he finally settled in Las Vegas and started two local plumbing companies. Bob was a hardworking and loyal man, always there to help his family and friends. He loved to invent, create and build new and better ways to improve life. He received his most enjoyment while spending time with family and friends may it be on his boats at Calville Bay, his and Caroline's Friday night dinners or get togethers at his house next to the pool.
Bob is survived by his children, Bernie and Shelli Lange, Tim and Pat Lange, Alicia Tracy and Tobi Lange, all of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Richard of Wilderville, Ore., and Cameron, Brandon, Trevin, Chandler, Kayla and Rachel, all of Las Vegas; longtime companion, Carolyn Phillips of Las Vegas; first wife, Nancy Lange of Auburn, CA.; cousins, Nadine Mink and kids, Tom, Tim, Todd, Michael and Christine, all of Albany, N.Y., Tom Purcell and kids, Tim and Kris of Mount Clemens, Mich., Bernie Purcell of Las Vegas and son, Billy, and Mary Beth and Jerry Harten of Mount Clemns, Mich.; and his beloved dog, Taz.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Barney and Stella Lang; brother, David Lange; and cousins, Billy and Joanne Purcell, all of Mount Clemens, Mich.
Bob was a very generous man, even after death, he will continue to give by donating his body to to Merin, a division of Touro University, so that others may be able to learn from him.
