Ronald Gene Robinson passed May 6, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Isadore Robinson and Della Robinson. Ronald served his country in the US Navy for 26yrs. He was ranked Chief Petty Officer and retired with Full Honors, awarded Army Commendation Medal for saving a life. Ronald was a Navy recruiter in Chicago, IL and instructor at Fort Devens Army Base, Mass. Ronald was awarded Chief Crypto logics Meritorious Service Award, Navy Achievement Medal. He also served on the USS Truxton CG-35. He was awarded six awards for good conducts and navy recruiting district superior Achievement Award. We were fortunate in the high caliber of service which Chief Robinson Render for his country.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 55 years Shirley Robinson, sons DeJuan, Michael, Keith and daughter in law Devita Robinson, Grand kids; Michael Jr, Kala Kai, Sydney Elizabeth, Danielle Leilani, Deja Bella, Damian Michael and DeJuan Ronald; and GOD son Greg Johnson and Brother in Law Isaac Simms He was proceeded in death by son, Randall, Uncle Charles Robinson and Bonnie Carper and Ronald's shipmates.
